Turning Manufacturing Data Into Business Decisions
You already have the numbers. We make them agree with each other, and put them where you can actually use them.
No pitch, no obligation.
2 weeks
Until you have a written answer on why your numbers disagree
Fixed price
Agreed before any work starts, never an open ended hourly bill
You own it
Every report, and the documentation to maintain it without us
Does any of this sound familiar?
These are the six things we hear most often. If two or more ring true, there is almost certainly a quick win available.
The same information gets typed in twice
An order arrives in one system and someone re-types it into another. Every re-type is a chance to get it wrong.
Month end runs on spreadsheets
Two days of exports and copy and paste that only one person in the building really understands.
Reports contradict each other
Sales, finance and production quote three different figures for the same month, and nobody can say which is right.
Everything depends on one person
The reports work because a particular colleague keeps them working. When they are on holiday, reporting stops.
Old reports nobody dares touch
Built years ago by someone who has since left. Still running, and nobody can safely change them.
Simple questions take days
Asking which products actually make money means someone has to go away and build something first.
None of this is fixed by buying more software. It is fixed by joining up what you already own, agreeing once what each number means, and letting the reports build themselves.
What changes once your data is joined up
The point is not prettier dashboards. It is making decisions without arguing about whether the numbers are right.
Month end stops eating a week
Reports build themselves overnight. Your finance team reviews the numbers instead of assembling them by hand.
Meetings stop arguing about the numbers
Everyone opens the same report and sees the same figure, so the discussion moves on to what to do about it.
You can finally see true margin
Which products, customers and lines actually make money once materials, labour and scrap are counted properly.
What we do for manufacturers
We work with the systems you already run. Nothing to rip out, nothing to replace.
We bring your numbers into one place
Orders, stock, production and finance pulled together into a single source, structured so the figures reconcile rather than compete.
Under the bonnet: a data warehouse built on SQL Server or Microsoft Fabric.
We make your systems talk to each other
Information entered once appears everywhere it is needed, automatically and overnight, so nobody is re-keying between systems.
Under the bonnet: automated data pipelines between your ERP, CRM and finance systems.
We build reports people actually use
Clear reporting on the numbers that drive your business, on a laptop or a phone, with the definition behind every figure agreed and written down.
Under the bonnet: Power BI reporting on a governed data model.
We rescue reports nobody can change
Old reports and inherited spreadsheets rebuilt on something maintainable, checked line by line against the originals before anything is switched over.
Under the bonnet: legacy report migration, reconciliation and documentation.
Not sure which you need? That is what the first call is for. You can also read more about how we work with manufacturing data.
How working with us actually goes
Four stages. You get something useful out of every one, whether or not you carry on to the next.
-
A free 30 minute call
You tell us what is not working and what it costs you. We tell you honestly whether we can help.
You get a written summary of the problem. -
We find where the numbers disagree
We map which system holds what, where figures diverge, and why. Often this alone explains a years old argument.
You keep the findings either way. -
We build it in stages
Nothing is a big bang. Each stage is checked against reports you already trust, so you can see it is right.
Working reports at every stage. -
We hand it over properly
Documentation, agreed definitions and a named owner for each number. Support is available, never compulsory.
Full ownership, and freedom to leave.
Want the detail, including how much of your team's time it takes? See how it works in full.
Questions we get asked first
If yours is not here, ask it on the call. We would rather answer up front than halfway through a project.
Do we need to replace our ERP system?
No. We work with the systems you already have. Replacing an ERP is expensive and disruptive, and in most cases the system is not the problem. The problem is that nothing joins your systems together.
We are a small manufacturer. Is this only for large companies?
No. Smaller manufacturers often feel this more sharply, because reporting usually rests on one person and their spreadsheets. Work is scoped to the size of your business, so you are not paying for something built for a company ten times your size.
How long before we see results?
You get a written summary of where your numbers disagree within about two weeks of the first call. First working reports usually follow within four to eight weeks, depending on how many systems are involved.
How much does it cost?
The first call and the written summary are free. Everything after that is quoted as a fixed price against an agreed scope, so you know the number before the work starts rather than getting an open ended hourly bill. See how pricing works.
Who owns the reports once they are built?
You do. The reports, the underlying work and the documentation are yours. Everything is written to be handed over, so your own team or another supplier can maintain it without us.
Our data is a mess. Is it too early to talk?
That is usually the reason to talk rather than a reason to wait. Nobody has tidy data before this kind of work starts. Sorting out the mess is the work.
Find out what your numbers are actually telling you
Thirty minutes on a video call. You describe what is not adding up, and we tell you whether it is fixable and roughly what it would take.
- Completely free, no obligation
- No sales pitch, no slide deck
- Nothing to prepare beforehand
- An honest answer if we are not the right fit
Or tell us what is not adding up
Describe it in your own words. We reply within one working day.
Send us a message
The more specific you are about which systems disagree, the more useful our first reply will be.
